BISE DG KHAN Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education
Creation
Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education was formed by DG Khan under West Pakistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary.
Education (DG Khan) Ordinance, 1989 (now repealed) Outside Multan Board. Now it is being governed under Punjab
Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Act, 1976.
History
Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education DG Khan was established on January 4, 1989.
The camp office of DG Khan Board started functioning in Multan Board at that time, it was shifted to DG Khan Khan Headquarters.
Board of Governments
The Board of Governors has 15 members, including the Chairman. Some members are former office bearers and others have been nominated in accordance with the provisions of the Act.
Fundraising
The board is an autonomous body with the power to make rules. He does not receive any grant-in-aid or donation from the government. Or Other quasi-government agencies will have to prepare their own funds in exchange for examinations and other fees.
Appointments
The board is an independent body and government. Punjab is the controlling authority. Chairman, Secretary Controller
Examinations, Audit Officer and DPE are appointed by the controlling authority / government. Usually on deputation for a period of 3 years.
Other officers and staff of BS-16 and above are appointed by the Governors, BS-15 in BS-5 as Chairman and Secretary in BS-1 to BS-4.
