Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Malakand w.e.f. Was established. As a result of the 2003 BISE partition, Swat and the NWFP have been operating since then in accordance with the Ordinance / Act 1990.
The Board is responsible for the education, organization, and control of more than 450 educational institutions in the public as well as the private sector.
