Pakistan defence day history

Pakistan defence day history

September 6, 1965 is a historic day in the national history of Pakistan when the nation was asleep but the guard of the Pak border was waking up. It was time for the soldiers of the homeland to fulfil their  pledge of allegiance. Every child, young and old, with shrouds on their heads, stood side by side with their brave forces to defend the country against the enemy.

On this day, the martyrs of Pakistan made their name in the list of brave and zealous guards of their borders. His body, mind and money were sacrificed for the country.
Now every soldier was an invincible wall, which stopped the advance of the enemy. No precedent can be set for his incredible feats of courage.

Their sense of duty and patriotism can be held in a shining place in the history of modern wars. It was a historic battle in which unparalleled stories of courage and fortitude were born. The whole world was astonished to see that the people and forces of Pakistan became a plywood wall in the face of the enemy's intentions and its plans were reduced to dust. A small but self-sufficient nation alongside the Pakistani forces has proved that not only modern weapons and military superiority but also strength of faith, unity, courage, firm belief in one's cause and love for the land is the passion that leads to success in any war and Cause arrogance.

The force of faith prevailed over the military force and the dream of the enemy could not be fulfilled. For India, intoxicated by its military might, the unprecedented enthusiasm and unity shown by the Pakistani forces and people was unexpected. This hour of ordeal, as always, is for all Muslims.

He had united them by erasing sectarian differences and every member of the nation had become a defender of his homeland and a self-sacrificing Mujahid. During the 17-day war, Pakistan's navy, air force and air force displayed their professionalism and skills all over the world, as well as set an example to the world of their bravery and courage. He still deserves tribute today.

September 6 is a symbol of our determination that if anyone tries to violate the sanctity of our borders, we will do our utmost to crush the aggression. The spirit of the September War is a test by which we can examine our role and performance in dealing with crises and our attitudes and capabilities as a nation. While the 1965 war gave us the opportunity to see the courage and selfless sacrifice of our soldiers, it also highlighted the bright aspects of our collective attitudes, including national unity, organisation, patriotism and national pride. ۔

On that day, the whole nation stood up as individuals to teach the aggressors a lesson. Established an emotional bond between our brave armed forces and the people that will always warm hearts. It is a rich and inspiring experience of our national consciousness that is both a source of pride and an example to follow. Today, we pay tribute to our martyrs and thank them for our invaders. Can give a blunt answer. Even today the intentions of our enemy's superiors have not changed in the slightest. Its purpose is to establish its supremacy in the region.

He is spending all his resources on stockpiling weapons to cut off the stomachs of his poor people and is spending a large part of his budget on equipping his forces with modern weapons and developing lethal weapons, including lethal missiles. The aggressive intentions of this enemy are increasing day by day. The continuous violations of the LoC over the past several months are clear evidence of this. India is currently feeling strong and Pakistan is feeling very weak because of its crises but Pakistan is not weak. Despite being caught in a crisis, Pakistan is well equipped to defend itself.

The Pakistan Army is proud that the flowers that bloom at its feet are always ready to be showered on the glory of the homeland.

These sons of the nation are aware of the conspiracies of the enemy. He has never disappointed the nation and never will. Following in the footsteps of their predecessors, they have stood firm against internal and external conspiracies against Pakistan. All three Pakistani forces were fighting on every front. The zealous people of Pakistan also played a vital role in encouraging and strengthening these forces. He was ready to do his best for his armed forces.

When the people of Lahore got the news of the war, they rushed to the frontiers with food, pickles, clothes, cigarettes on their legs and everything they could afford to give to their soldiers. When the troops marched to the border, the old men and women on the side of the road prayed for their safety, asked for help, and the children saluted with devotion.

The sisters prayed to God for their protection.
While the poets were expressing their emotions by writing national anthems, the voices of the singers were joining the atmosphere as prayers. Assuming the whole country was involved in the war, there was no fear. In this war, our nation proved that in every hour of trial.

6, September 1965 Pakistan Defence Day

6, September 1965 Pakistan Defence Day

Every year on September 6, Pakistan Defence Day is celebrated with national and national fervour across the country. September 6 is a day when Pakistani forces thwarted the enemy's vicious attempt to invade our sacred land and made a glorious history.

On this historic day, the defenders of the motherland defeated the enemy in an ideal way, proving that they too, like their great predecessors, have an unparalleled passion. Has fulfilled the sacred duty of upholding freedom beyond the distinction of age, race, caste and religion by standing by the side of the Armed Forces of Pakistan, an example of which is seldom found in the history of the world. Thanks to the spirit and efforts of our forefathers, we must follow in their footsteps and take the lead in making great sacrifices for the greatness and progress of our beloved homeland. This was the thought of our leader. He made this clear in his deliberate address to the officers of the Civil and Navy and Air Force of Pakistan on 11 October 1947.

Make a firm commitment to build on strong and stable foundations so that our future generations can live in peace there. This requires hard work and more hard work. ”Following the vision of the leader, the end of the 1965 war It was a glorious victory, but we must remember that the struggle to flourish with honor and dignity must continue with more dedication and passion. There is no doubt that we must continue our invincible spirit, perseverance and patriotism. With unparalleled love, we can identify ourselves as a developed nation.

Pakistan defence day air show

Pakistan's armed forces are always on duty to protect the borders and these forces are distinguished in terms of their professionalism around the world. By winning the war on terror, Pakistani forces proved their capabilities to the world and set a high example for other countries' forces.
Today, the nation is celebrating Pakistan Defence Day. 54 years ago today, India had unjustifiably attacked Pakistan and challenged our national pride and dignity. Today, the armed forces and the nation stand together and pledge to defend the country's borders.
Since the Indo-Pak war in 1965, much has changed in national defence, military strategy and tactics. Let's take a look at the readiness of the Armed Forces to make the national defense invincible and what kind of weapons it is equipped with.

Pak Army

Pakistan Armed Forces has 3 major divisions. This includes the ground forces, navy and air force. So let's try to examine the capabilities of the three separately and in detail.
Pakistan's ground forces or the Pakistan Army is led by a four-star general called the Chief of Army Staff. The Army is currently led by General Qamar Javed Bajwa, the 10th Army Chief. These forces consist of more than 600,000 officers and men, while there are a similar number of reserve forces that can be called in at any time in case of war.
A look at the country's geography reveals that Pakistan's 7,000 km long land border is with India, China, Afghanistan and Iran, including rocky and snow-capped mountains, plains, deserts, rivers and swamps. Therefore, the army is deployed keeping in view the specific needs of each area, it is provided with military equipment and officers and men are trained.
The Pakistan Army is a modern and comprehensive combat force. In the combat areas of the Pakistan Army
  • Infantry or infantry
  • Armored Corps,
  • Artillery or artillery,
  • Army Air Defense,
  • Engineering core,
  • Army Aviation and
  • Includes Strategic Command Unit.
The Pakistan Army is truly a three-pronged combat force. Capable of conducting military operations on land, air and surface water.

Infantry or infantry

The infantry is the oldest military force in the history of war in the world. Man started organized wars with infantry and infantry played a central role in most of the wars fought so far.
A comprehensive strategy is also needed to fight infantry. The Chinese general and philosopher Sun Zhou has written a book on this strategy, Art of War. For a general, the foreman of his forces, the choice of a place to fight, the importance of the weather in war, the movement of infantry, weapons and other topics are discussed in a very philosophical manner.
Even in today's modern warfare, the infantry is the backbone of any army. In Pakistan Army Infantry.

In modern warfare, infantry mechanized columns (modern armored vehicles) have also been added to the Pakistan Army to protect the infantry from enemy fire and to reach the enemy's territory as soon as possible. Delivered there.

Armoured Corps

The Armoured Corps consists of more tanks that advance into enemy territory with their tremendous firepower. Armoured Corps troops are at the forefront of the battle and are accompanied by infantry or mechanised infantry.

The purpose of the Armoured Corps is to advance rapidly into enemy territory and infiltrate its territory at the expense of the enemy, and the Pakistan Armored Division has become a nightmare for the enemy.
The Pakistan Army Armored Corps has Pakistan-made Al-Khalid tanks, also known as the Main Battle Tank or King of the Battle. In addition, home-made Al-Dharar tanks, T80 UD tanks, Type 85 IIAP and Type 69 IIMP and Type 59 tanks are also part of the Armored Corps. The Army Armored Corps training center is located in Nowshera Cantonment.

The Pakistan-US Armored Command Vehicle Sakb is also being used by the Pakistan Army. The vehicle could be used to set up a dynamic command control, communications and intelligence unit in the field. This vehicle can also be used for digital and electronic warfare. In addition, various types of armored personal careers are also part of the armored corps.

Ever since Pakistan started hosting the Defense Exhibition Idea, I have been covering it and have had the opportunity to sit in the tank several times. Undoubtedly, it takes an iron will to operate a tank and perform its duty during war. Sitting in a small space with ammunition is no less terrifying. Another important point is that the iron in the tank heats up in the heat, and thus the temperature inside doubles as compared to the outside. In addition, the heat of the tank engine also acts as a fire.
The Pakistan-built Al-Khalid tank is capable of firing at its target at a speed of 80 kmph. Demonstration of this ability of Al-Khalid tank was also seen in the firing range of Somiani in Idea's fire power show. The sound of her firing is so loud that she can make the insignificant mistake of a common man.

Pakistan Army Air Defence

In the modern war environment, air defence has become the most important sector. When the enemy tries to attack from the air with his planes, the same army from the ground responds to it through air defence.
The task of this unit is to identify the enemy ship and lock down the target.
Army Air Defence has shot down 71 warplanes in various battles. The Army Air Defence shot down 17 Indian helicopters on the Siachen front between 1995 and 1997. The 1971 war hit 104 warships with 39 crashes. In the 1965 war, 110 warships were targeted, 32 of which landed.
India itself acknowledged that in 1971, 48 per cent of its aircraft were damaged by ground fire and 30 per cent by air combat.

The Pakistan Army has improved its air defence system in the face of changing circumstances and technology. Army Air Defence has the following equipment.
Sky Guide Radar and Oligocene Gun Sky Radar is capable of locating enemy aircraft up to 17 km and targeting fighter jets, missiles and UAVs within a radius of 4 km.

The Giraffe Radar and RBS70 missile system detects an enemy ship 40 km away, launches its missile with the help of radar, and hits its target before launching a fighter jet missile. It also shot down DW-18 missiles, FM-90 weapon system fighter jets, cruise missiles, armored helicopters and FM-90, LY weapon system ready-to-fire modern warplanes, and UAVs. Has the ability to drop.
A total of 94 Star of Courage, Medal of Distinction and Distinguished Certificates have been conferred on Army Air Defense under the motto of Knowledge, Action and Honor.

Corps of Engineers

It is the responsibility of the Corps of Engineers to provide support to the Armored and Mechanized Infantry during the war. The Assault Engineer Battalion of the Pakistan Army has 200 plants and equipment, which enables the Corps of Engineers to build reliable bridges over small streams, swamps and large waterways such as rivers in minutes to an hour. Capable of creating paths that can range from a few meters to 100 meters long.
One of the tasks of the Corps of Engineers is to lay landmines in the shortest possible time to stop the advance of the enemy. The Rocket Delivery Mine System has 24 mines of mines and is capable of laying anti-tank and anti-personnel mines up to a distance of 15 km. The mine dispensing system is capable of laying anti-tank and anti-personnel mines up to a depth of 600 meters.

Core of signals

The Corps of Signals is responsible for maintaining contact with soldiers on the battlefield and in the main wardroom, and for alerting them to enemy attacks. The Corps of Signals provides voice messages and data to field commanders during combat. Field Formation has an Army Tactical Communication System. There are also different types of radars.

Pakistan Navy

While Allah Almighty has given Pakistan the highest mountain ranges in the world, He has also given Pakistan a coastline of more than one thousand kilometres which stretches from Sir Creek in the east to Giovanni in the west.

Under international law, Pakistan has its own maritime boundaries. In addition, there is a special economic zone covering an area of more than 240,000 km under the sea, with an additional continental shelf covering an area of 50,000 sq km. There is also a large area in the sea in which Pakistan's right to marine life and minerals in the subsoil has been recognised internationally.

In addition to protecting its maritime borders, Pakistan needs a strong and professional navy to protect the resources in the Special Economic Zones and Continental Shelf and to secure maritime trade routes, and this work is being carried out vigorously by the Pakistan Navy. ۔

If we look at the east of Pakistan, India has a large and strong navy, while in the west there is no significant maritime force in the Arabian Sea, from the countries closest to Pakistan, Iran, Oman, UAE to Africa. ۔

Pakistan Navy Submarine Services

Submarines are used to fight underwater. Pakistan Navy Submarine Command was established in 1964. The Pakistan Navy was the first navy in the region to establish a submarine command. Pakistan currently has 9 submarines, consisting of Hashmat class submarine Augusta 70A class submarine. There are also 3 medium class submarines designed by Italy.

Pakistan's Augusta 90 submarine is the most advanced that can go deeper in the ocean and stay underwater for longer. These submarines are equipped with anti-ship missiles.

Pakistan Air Force

We cannot forget the day on February 27, 2019 when the Pakistan Air Force dusted off India in a massive operation. The Pakistan Air Force not only shot down two Indian fighter jets but also captured an Indian soldier. At the same time, Pakistan Air Force pilots sent a message to India in broad daylight that its military assets were being targeted by Pakistan.

In this regard, the Pakistan Air Force had locked the targets at the Indian Brigade Headquarters, Battalion Headquarters, Supply Depot and other places. The locking of the target meant that Pakistan could have destroyed most of the Indian army in Kashmir if it had wanted to, but it was left alive after asserting its capability to the enemy on humanitarian grounds. This operation of Pakistan has become a golden chapter in the history of air warfare.

The Pakistan Air Force is the 7th largest air force in the world in terms of current assets.

The Pakistan Air Force is headed by a 4-star general called Chief of Air Staff and Air Chief Marshal.

It is a tradition in the Pakistan Air Force that the post of Chief of Air Staff should be given to the pilot of a fighter jet. The Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal, leads the flypast on behalf of the Air Force in the Pakistan Day Parade on March 23, while the Air Chief also led the air operations in the war on terror.

As for the strength of the Pakistan Air Force, it consists of 8,000 officers and men. Pakistan has about 1,400 military aircraft, including 786 fighter and attack aircraft, 51 transport aircraft and 500 training aircraft. Pakistan has more than 300 helicopters, including 55 attack helicopters. The Pakistan Air Force also has unmanned aerial vehicles.

Initially, the Pakistan Air Force relied on other countries for procurement of aircraft, with France, the United Kingdom and the United States topping the list, but over the past three decades, Pakistan has shifted its reliance on China and domestic production.

The Pakistan Air Force currently has 98 JF-17 Thunder, 45 US-made F-16s, 69 Mirage Interceptors, 90 Mirage Attackers and 136 Chinese-made F-7 fighter jets.

In terms of its training, the Pakistan Air Force is divided into different commandos, including North, Central and Southern, Air Defense, Air Force Strategic Command.

Read these poems and travel the colorful world of this spirit.

The desire to sell is now in our hearts
We have to see how much force is in the killer's arm
We want peace but against oppression
If war is necessary, then war is necessary
All the best Indians are ours
We are the bubbles, its flowers are ours
The love of the homeland will come from the heart even if it does not die
The fragrance will come from my soil too
