IBCC Inter Board Committee of Chairmen Islamabad

The Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) was established in 1972 under a resolution of the Ministry of Education to exchange information between the member boards, coordinate the activities of the boards, and provide education, assessment and  Achieve a fair measure of uniformity of curriculum standards.  Promoting inter-board based curriculum and co-curricular activities. 

 It provides a forum for the board's chief executives and provincial curriculum bureaus to consult on issues related to the development and promotion of intermediate and secondary education and technical education by making appropriate recommendations to the government.

 Also includes coordination of educational activities such as curriculum, testing and assessment, examinations, educational planning and administration.
